HIGHLIGHTS: Wildlife up close and personal! We kayak past a colony of Australian Sea lions, a Pelican colony, and view the Fairy Penguins. The Islands of Shoalwater Marine Park are teeming with birdlife. Sometimes we see dolphins swimming by

DESCRIPTION: We pick-up customers from Fremantle or Perth city and drive to Shoalwater Marine Park, just south of Rockingham (approx 40 minutes from Fremantle). We unload our kayak trailer and our guides fit you with our sunshirts, hats, Lifejacket and snorkelling gear. We provide a brief kayak lesson, and cover some basic saftey concerns and head off kayaking. We spend the morning kayaking through the islands passing the Sea lion colony - these magnificent creatures often swim and play between the kayaks. We provide a yummy morning tea and visit the Penguins before paddling around Penguin Island. We then snorkel before preparing a fresh lunch on Penguin Island. Fresh brewed coffee and tea are included. After lunch we take a leisurely stroll around the island, where our guides share their local knowledge. We then kayak back to our vehicle, hopefully with the seabreeze, pack up and head home.


PICK-UP :	Outside Wellington St Bus Station (Perth City) - 7-30am (View Map) Outside lawned Park - Opposite Fremantle Train Station 8am (View Map) OR you can meet us at Shoalwater, we meet at the car park where Gloucester St. intersects with Arcadia Drive, Rockingham.
RETURN:	Approx 3-30pm Fremantle, and 4pm Perth City (these times vary depending on weather, conditions, group-size etc)
INCLUDES:	All paddling and safety gear (seakayaks, PFD, paddles etc) including UV-resistant paddling shirts and hats, fully-qualified guide and all instruction, snorkelling gear, dry bags for valuables and cameras, morning tea, lunch and cold drinks, all transfers from Perth and Fremantle, Penguin Discovery Session entry fee, smiles, wildlife and a great time!!
WHAT TO BRING:	Be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen, a water bottle and a pair of shoes that you don't mind getting wet, and camera. Some people like to bring a change of dry clothes to put on after the paddle.
WHERE:	Shoalwater Marine Park is close to Rockingham about 45mins drive south of Perth via the Kwinana Fwy.
WHEN:	Capricorn Seakayaking runs their summer trips between November and March each year.
BOOKING CONDITIONS:	If we cancel due to bad weather, we reschedule you to the next available tour, or offer you a full refund. We usually notify you the day before if the weather forecast is not looking good. If you cancel within 48 hours of tour commencement you forfeit all moneys paid.
